The First Fork in the Road
Every kitchen plan starts with one decision: does the sink stay where it is, and do the walls stay up? A remodel inside the current footprint is mostly cabinets, counters, lighting and finishes. Relocating the sink, cutting an opening into the dining room or adding a prep sink in an island means reframing, new water and drain lines and extra circuits.
If you are undecided, we price both versions in writing, so you can see what the bigger change adds before you commit. Either way, one contract covers the whole room.

Cabinets and storage
Cabinet boxes leveled and anchored to studs, whether new or refaced, with pull-out pantry shelves, deep drawers and an island that fits how your household cooks.

Counters and backsplash
Counters measured from the cabinets once they're in, and a backsplash that stops cleanly at switch plates, window trim and open ends.

Light and power
Task lighting under the upper cabinets, ceiling fixtures over the work areas and dedicated circuits for the appliances that need them.

Lock in the orders
Cabinets and appliances are selected and ordered first, and delivery dates are confirmed before the old kitchen comes out, so you aren't left staring at an empty room.

Clear and rough in
Old cabinets and counters come out, walls open where the plan calls for it, and moved water lines, drains and circuits go in for inspection.

Set, top and finish
Cabinets go in first, then counters after templating, then backsplash, lighting, hardware and appliance hookups. We walk the finished room with you before closing out.
Questions About Kitchens
How long is the kitchen out of action?
Several weeks for most full remodels, longer if walls open up or the sink changes places. A temporary setup in the dining room, with a hot plate or microwave and a fridge, gets most families through.
Will our current refrigerator and range still fit?
Usually. Give us their exact model sizes early and the new cabinets get built around them. If you plan to upgrade later, say so, and the openings can be sized for what's coming.
